Here are a few to look into: Microsoft Explore, Google STEP, Meta University, Google Summer of Code, Microsoft New Technologists, CodePath SITE, Amazon Future Engineer, Duolingo Thrive Program, SAP STAR, Uber STAR and more!
Time is a great resource and doing these mentorship programs will absolutely help you crush getting a job straight out of college. Some of these programs include scholarships to pay for tuition, stipends, crazy high pay for interns, mentors from these top companies, a cohort to network with, hands-on technical experience, and will actually demonstrate what working in this field looks like early on. If you apply and become one of these programs students you will have significant leverage saying you were able to participate in such high caliber programs your freshman and sophomore year of college. Nevertheless you will have technical experience like no other and know employees from this company which is priceless. Many college students don't take enough advantage of these opportunities or know about them so tell your friends to apply too! In regards to applications, many of these that I mentioned require the very basics: study at a university in North America, have taken calculus and at-least one programming course, and that's it, some may include an interview at most!
