Habits, whether good or bad, accumulate. Productivity, knowledge, and relationships all benefit from positive habits. Stress, negative thoughts, and anger are examples of negative habits.

How does stress contributes? Small stressors may appear isolated at first, but they can add up to serious health problems over time. Compulsive parenting, traffic, a slight increase in blood pressure, and other common sources of anxiety. Worrying then leads to bigger issues.

Negative thoughts combine. Accumulating negative thoughts will create a negative reality for you. Therefore always consider how you perceive yourself and others.

Protests and civil unrest are frequently the result of a series of micro-aggressions. However, we like to blame it on a single incident as if it were isolated. Small changes appear insignificant until they reach a tipping point.

This is refer to as the "Plateau of Latent Potential."

Patience is required to achieve the desired results.

When you complete one extra task on any given day, it appears minor at the time. However, it is significant when viewed over the course of a period if consistency has been maintained.

As you automate some tasks, your brain gains the ability to focus on more important matters. This is very helpful especially if you are a lifelong learner.

Reading few minutes a day for example forces you to think differently and exposes you to new ideas.

Growing in kindness has a compounding effect on your relationships. People are more likely to assist someone who has been kind to them.
