Minimum workout requirements
How much you have to exercise for health and performance obviously depends on your lifestyle and goals but there is a minimum that most experts agree on.
3 sessions of resistance training each week to strengthen the musculoskeletal system
3 sessions of moderate to intense cardio training to keep your physiology healthy
For most of us though the minimum is not enough.
Treating the outcomes of bad posture and movement habits takes time and effort. The more stagnation we build up during the day, the more we have to shake off later.
Make your workspace movement-friendly to minimize the damage you then have to fix in the gym or with your physical therapist.
Make the minimum enough.
