Google Chrome Extensions For Content Creators That Can Help Increase Productivity
John Iseghohi

While studying how to become productive, one of the first things I learned was that distractions are terrible.

If you're like me, I use Chrome browser, one of the most widely used web browsers in the world and has a vast amount of extensions available to download.

Extensions are small programs you can add to Chrome that allow you to add new features, remove ads and clutter, or change how it looks.

I'll walk you through my list of ten productivity extensions that I use to get things done faster.

  1. Google Dictionary - Double-click any word to view its definition in a small pop-up bubble right within your browser.

  2. Buffer – the best way to share great content to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn from anywhere at scheduled times.

3. Gmail Checker – get notifications, read, listen to or delete emails without opening Gmail and easily manage multiple accounts.

4. Grammarly – checks for plagiarism and grammatical errors as you type in any document or email you write in the Chrome browser. It also offers text suggestions and corrections when needed.

5. Google Calendar - Shows a mini-view of the calendar on the right-hand side of the screen while surfing other sites in a browser 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

6. Boomerang – The ultimate email productivity tool. Send later, track responses, and use AI to write better emails. 🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌

7. LastPass - Save all your passwords, addresses, credit cards and more in your secure vault, and LastPass will automatically fill in your information when you need it.

8. StayFocusd - This chrome extension will block you from distracting websites for a certain amount of time. It is a great way to focus on your work without the temptation of checking Facebook or Reddit.

9. Save to Google Drive - Save web content or screen capture directly to Google Drive.

10. SavetoPocket - This extension allows you to save articles to Pocket without leaving the page you're reading. You might have tried similar extensions in the past, but I found this one had more options and worked better than most other ones I've tried. It's a real time-saver!

You can easily add any of these extensions to your browser by searching for the name in google search and clicking on add to chrome, pretty straightforward.

Enjoy and stay productive.
