Krita is the best free & open source drawing tool out there.

But it still has some weird interface bits.

Here are 3 obscure but useful parts of Krita's interface.

Add brushes to favourites

There are heaps of brushes, but most of them aren't that useful.

You can right click a brush and assign it to a tag such as My Favourites.

You can then change the brush selector (and Pop-Up palette) to only show your favourites.

Left click tool bar to increase icon size

Using krita as on a windows tablet is abit hard with the default icon sizes.

You can left click on the tool bar and choose the size, I went with 32x32, to make picking the right tool easier.

Two hidden ways to rotate the canvas:

Sometimes when panning with my fingers the canvas rotates.

There is a small rotation circle in the bottom right you can use to change the angle.

Otherwise in the pop-up palette there is a small grey ball you can rotate.
