With sports, there are rules.

With entrepreneurship, there are no rules.

With sports, there’s a playbook.

With entrepreneurship, there’s no playbook.

With sports, there’s structure.

With entrepreneurship, there’s no structure.

With sports, there’s a team.

With entrepreneurship, there’s no team. (when starting out)

With sports, you play 10 years.

With entrepreneurship, you play your entire life.

Entrepreneurship is harder because it can be anything you want — but you must create it all, from scratch.

My aim is to play at the highest levels of the game for the rest of my life.

And unlike sports, I get to create the rules.

I’m running my own race.

And much like sports, in order to win, I need:

• Mental sharpness & toughness

• Unshakable confidence

• Indefatigable work ethic

• Relentless pursuit of excellence

• Enjoyment of the grind

It might sound harsh, but the reality is most athletes never go pro.

And most entrepreneurs don’t make it past 5 years.

I’m in it for the long game because it’s the only game I can see myself playing, and enjoying, for the rest of my life.

To make it all worth it, business has to be a game, one that’s fun & worth winning.

As a kid I was a gamer.

Never thought the best game I’d ever play would be my building my own life and my own business 🙌
