Here's how to assemble your next EPIC product launch on YouTube:
🏏 Step #1: Create A Quick-Hitting Video That Solves the Problem.
Let's hope your product is solving a worthwhile problem.
Assuming that, create a 4-6 minute video that walks through 3 steps to solving that problem. Jam as much high value Aha! moments in that tutorial video.
However, do NOT mention your product. Don't even hint at it.
💬 Step #2: Engage & Create a Reply Video
Once your quick-hitting video has generated some buzz (hopefully some comments), jump in and engage with your audience.
Collect all the comments, and then create a 2nd video of you replying to the comments. This video is meant to "twist the knife". Talk further about the problem. Add some nuance.
At the end of the video, promote to your viewers that you might have found a way to solve this problem for good - and that you are going to host a livestream about it.
Mention the date of the livestream EVERYWHERE. It should not be a mystery as to when you're going live. Collect emails, create a Lu.ma events page, schedule the livestream on YouTube with a catchy thumbnail.
🔴 Step #3: Go Live & Announce Your Product
Go Live. First, recap what you've already covered in your last two videos.
Recap the problem and how to quickly solve it. Set up the fact that your audience has been struggling with this problem and now...there's a solution.
Then unveil your product. Walkthrough the benefits, talk about what it can do and then talk about the offer.
