Don't Hire a CTO Yet

For the past two years, everyone--from the startup next to mine in the coworking space (back in those days!) and the entrepreneurship ecosystem on Twitter--has been preaching the benefits of no code.

"Airtable will change your life," or "Zapier will take away all your busy work."

Mhmm. I nodded and smiled.

I have listened to the cacophony of no code, and even spread the hype to other founders without trying it myself. To be frank, the intimidation of learning another new tech system kept me away.

But now, I am changing that. For the next thirty days I will be building with these tools myself a member of the #100DayofNoCode Bootcamp.

Suddenly, like a baptism by smart saas, I can completely understand what the hype is all about. It is not just the no code tools and software, but it is the knowledge of HOW to tap into the potential of each tool.

Much like learning a new language, each of these Softr's, Bubble's, and Bravo's, allow you to reach and communicate your startup to the desired audience. None of my sad high school level HTML or JavaScript required.

The power of no-code is more than just the creation, it is the ability to get out there and rapidly test. As a promoter of the M-MVP (truly the most minimal product), future founders have taken the CTO barrier out of the prototyping process. And, as a nontechnical founder myself, no code has given me the confidence to whip up landing pages and apps (with minimal headaches and desperate texts to my techie friends!).

So, if you are interested in creating a personal portfolio or a webpage for your product, take a moment to explore, and work smarter, with no code.
