The Biblical Heaven is different from the Biblical Paradise.
But few know this fact. However, you don't have to be a "bible nerd" to get that. If you pray to our father in "heaven", it will help you to know the difference between Heaven and Paradise.
Heaven means skies(Greek: Ouranos, G3772), while paradise means the garden(Greek: paradeisos, g3857).
Let's take a close look.
Heaven Means Skies
God is in heaven, and we are on earth(Eccl 5:2), and out of heaven, God spoke(Deut 4:36, Num 7:89).
There’re occurrences of people who heard the voice of God out of the skies(heavens), even if they couldn’t see Him. These people worked by the word they’ve heard from the heavens, thus, calling God the Lord God of heaven because God spoke from heaven.
There're stories of people in the wilderness(Gen 28:13-18), in houses(Ezekiel 8:1-2), on mountains(Luke 9:28-35), on islands(Rev 1:9-11) who saw heaven(skies) open, proving that heaven is all around us; however, we need the proper organ to perceive and experience it.
For instance, Jacob slept at the gate of Heaven but didn't know until his physical senses were shut and his spiritual insights were opened to substantiate heaven's realities.
Paradise Means Garden
Paradise is an adapted word from the greek work paradeisos(G3857), or in Hebrew pardēs(h6508), which means enclosed garden, park, or forest.
According to Revelations 2:7, there is the “tree of life” amid the paradise of God. Paradise has also been linked to the location the bible calls the “bosom of Abraham”. Are you able to recall another garden in the bible with a tree of life at the centre?
The good news is that you don’t have to die before you can contact this reality experientially. You can access them(2 Cor 12:1-4).
When you pray to your father in heaven, He's so close to you than the air you breathe(Acts 17:27-28), but you'll need to believe it because you can’t see Him with physical sight. His Spirit.
