Unlocking the Mystery: Understanding the Differences between Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
By Kamaro

Machine Learning(ML) and Artificial Intelligence(AI) are trending technology, different but are often used synonymously.

The truth is that the difference between the two is not that obvious, especially to the non-techies. But don't worry; I got you covered today. Give me a minute to explain the difference between machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Machine learning and artificial intelligence deal with computers that can be trained based on past data, and then through their learning, they become intelligent to make decisions without human supervision. Artificial intelligence enables a computer to simulate human behaviour.

Machine learning is part of artificial intelligence, a subset of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is human-made thinking power, while machine learning makes it possible for a machine to learn from past data automatically without programming.

The goal of artificial intelligence is to make enable computers to have the thinking capacity to solve complex problems and perform tasks like humans, while the purpose of machine learning is to allow machines to learn from data so that they can give accurate output.

You don't have to be a tech guru to use AI and benefit from it. If you're new to this technology, you can get started by trying https://chat.openai.com/chat
