It almost seems silly to me, that I'd need help with creativity.
As a child, I always seemed to gravitate towards creative pursuits. I painted, played with mud, colored, drew, I even penned my first song at eight years old.
Unfortunately, as an adult, I lost sight of that. By the time I cared about creativity again, I had to relearn the skill that once came so naturally to me.
I've since found some great resources on how to be more creative. Here are some resources I found really helpful:
Read This Book: The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron is a must-read for anyone who aspires to live a more creative life. I've read it once through in the past, and am slowly making my way through it again to hone my skills.
Watch This YouTube Video: Succulence is powerful: SARK (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) at TEDxFiDiWomen by the TEDx Talks channel on YouTube is a wonderful talk by one of my favorites. I've read many of SARK's books and have found her perspective to be so helpful.
Listen To This Podcast: And if you really want to start going down the rabbit hole, listen to Creative Codex by MJDorian. I just love the perspectives shared in this Podcast!
The resources about creativity that are out in the world are endless, and I've found everything helpful that I've gotten my hands on. Right now, these are the ones that I seem to consume on a more regular basis.
