Parts of your life story are rich veins of untapped resources.

Diamonds. Water. Oil. Truth. These precious raw materials are locked in the most inconvenient locations of your psychological map.

These two subsectors are designed to help you (and me) develop new methods of discovery to put those resources to better use.

Subsector 1: What major lessons did you learn back then?

Life is full of challenges and obstacles. In every moment of difficulty lies an opportunity learn new ways to extract power from our own narratives and learn new skills.

But many blow the opportunity the first time.

And while you can't change the past, you can reexamine it with non-judgmental curiosity and new eyes to find the bright spots you might have overlooked in the flurry of the moment.

In this subsector, I'll share stories about how I cultivated key skills from some of the most significant events I've lived through so far.

Naturally, this will lead me down the unfamiliar paths of 'unincorporated territory'. A wild landscape where anything can happen good or bad.

Subsector 2: How can you incorporate your discoveries into your present reality?

Traveling through unincorporated lands can be a dangerous slog.

These are parts of yourself you rarely acknowledge, and as discussed in a previous essay, you WILL encounter resistance in many different forms during your journey.

But great reward awaits if you persevere.

For traveling through the backcountry of your being has numerous incentives (should you stick with it and arrive alive).

Clarity. Peace of mind. Self-compassion. Forgiveness. Renewed self-confidence. The gems lie on the other side of past despair and failure. You just need to be bold enough to take the walk.

For me, I plan to use this subsector to update the present version of my story from the battles won and skills acquired in the previous area.

Use the insights gained from your trip through unincorporated territory to bid farewell to old models and frames that no longer serve you. And even considered converting the wilderness into charted lands where new life and future civilization can flourish.
