After totaling my own 1997 Grey Toyota Camry (pictures above) I now drive my wife’s 2001 Toyota Camry. It’s gold. The paint is faded. There are cigarette burns in the door from the previous owner. The passenger door panel is completely off from a botched job I performed…

I however, am not so stubborn. My little brother loves nothing more than a great (or terrible) project car. And I will occasionally dabble in a bit of old Top Gear or Mighty Car Mods when I’m with him.

I told him I had a fun idea for a YouTube channel where my brother, father, and myself all bought similar project cars and all worked on them collectively and then drove them around the country with walkie talkies like a Top Gear Special. He was sold.

My only issue? I’m not a car guy. So here’s my journey of learning what it means to get obsessed with something. If you are a car guy or girl I’d appreciate any help with getting into the culture. Thank you.
