Last week, 90% of my time was spent reading personal branding books, watching Johnny Harris YouTube documentaries, catching up on Better Call Saul episodes, and connecting my friends with each other 🫠

And this photo was a video game bar that I wanted to randomly check out on a Monday night. I just invited my friends, who were in town and wanted to check it out 🎮

The 25 year old, workaholic, hustle or die, Kevin would have thought of this as wasting time. But what I’m realizing is that doing nothing is probably one of the most important productive things you can do 🧘

If you’ve known me for the last few years, then you know I’m on the search of creating my life purpose. And after my dinner with Chris Do, I decided to re-read the book, Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life 🇯🇵

In this book, Hector Garcia talks how we don’t “create” our ikigai (AKA or reason for being). Instead, we discover it. Our ikigai finds us when we focus on doing what we love with people that love us. So I’ve been doing exactly that and embracing who I am 💯

I’m someone who loves jiu jitsu, content creation, and learning new things. I love the art of building positive habits, biohacking, and the soft skills of human psychology, persuasion, and sales. But most of all, I feel like a superhero when I can make friends and connect them together 🤯

To be honest, I still can’t put my ikigai into words. But I know this is a process ⚙️ 

All I know is that I’m passionate about improving everyday, building new friendships, and sharing the new things I’m learning with the internet. And somehow I’ve figured out how to make a business and living out of it 🤷‍♂️

Last week I met Chris Do, Bob Burg, and joined their community. My Twitter article from my dinner with Chris Do starting trending. And I even got headhunted by a potential inbound sales client and approached for a long term sponsorship for my YouTube channel 🤑

This all came from “nothing”. Eventually the words will come, but right now I’m just enjoying living my kickass life 🔥
