Remember how our parents and teachers refrained us from reading a complete topic or subject in a one stretch?
Well, there is Cognitive Psychology behind that too. Learning all at a stretch is called as Massed Learning, while learning bit by bit everyday is called Spaced Learning.
Research is very clear that you should space it out as opposed to massed learning. In Massed learning, if we understand a topic and read it again and again, it becomes incredibly easy. While, in spaced learning, you try and remember the same thing once a week , it creates much more difficult task. It is found that there is a desirable level of difficulty needed for learning process. Spaced learning is gives us desirable difficulty which we need to learn and make process wise.
