There are two ways you can give candy to kids:
1- Give it straight up, get a quick thanks, and it's over.
2- Tease them: "Close your eyes—no peeking! Ready for a treat? Tada! Here's something yummy for your tummy!"
If you can turn candy into an experience, why not do the same for your words of wisdom?
I call this: "The Candy Principle" to deliver your best lines with delight.
Simply put, the impact of your message is dramatically enhanced by how you present it.
Here's how 'The Candy Principle' works:
1/ Craft Your Powerline:
Condense your key message into a short, striking, and sticky line. For example, whether I'm talking about public speaking, productivity, or explaining the cognitive process, I condense my message to: "What you do backstage puts you on stage."
2/ Tease Before You Tell:
Create suspense before unveiling your Powerline. Use pauses, tone, and body language to draw your audience in. It's the thrill of the wait that amplifies impact.
3/ Repeat for Retention:
Repetition is the rhythm of recall. Sometimes, you must repeat your Powerline and expand on it so that it weaves into their memory. The goal is to make your audience remember, repeat, and relive your message.
Your ideas deserve to stick and spread. Implementing "the Candy Principle" in your communication turns your words into an unforgettable experience.
