Everyone struggles with speaking in public.

Personally, I have for years.

Starting the podcast put me on the spot right away. English not being my first language made it hard but I knew I needed to improve.

Fast forward 3 years and my life changed because I decided to take the first step.

But what changed for me was realizing that we can all become great speakers. And as soon as that clicked, I started to understand that overcoming the fear of public speaking wasn't that hardβ€”I was just doing the wrong thing.

Here's what I should have done instead:

Practice Frequently

There is no better way to learn to do something than practicing.

Listening back to my first few podcast episodes is painful. But that allowed me to improve.

I feel more comfortable speaking in public because of frequent practice.
