Mental reprogramming sounds more complicated than it is. Every person is living their life based on a program. What you do every day is a part of an automatic program. These are called habits.
Your habits can get in the way of life change, though, especially when change becomes necessary. We must reprogram the mind so we can change gears.
You need to do two types of programming to change your life.
Micro programming and macro programming.
*BIG TERM ALERT*
Micro programming focuses on the "what." Let's say you need to lose weight, nail a presentation or write copy for your business. Right now, your programming is likely directing you toward failure. You don't think you can lose weight because you've tried 15 diets where you either didn't lose weight or did and put it back on. This is how I program my mind to get the goal.
I weigh ___ pounds
I make excellent presentations
I produce great business copywriting
Macro programming focuses on the habits and characteristics (the "how") that allow you to achieve the goal you pursue. You can program yourself to make better food choices, prepare and execute presentations and write good business copy.
Our minds are constantly talking to us. Reprogramming changes the conversation.
