In my experience, I think you should build your study/work habits around producing your "Output".
Now, this may sound so obvious, but when you study/learn something, unless you have hard deadlines, sometimes you get carried away feeling good about consuming lots of information, but then you realize, you are not producing anything - meaning not creating value for others.
Unless you share what you have and help a lot of people around you, your input may not be fully utilized.
So in summary:
Your "output" is the crucial bridge between "input" and "impact".
Your "input" should help you define who you may become, and help you create "great output" to help so many people around you.
Your "output" would also shape the way you work, how you manage your time, and priorities.
