Test Prep and/or tutoring is the most lucrative way to make money as a student, according to Alex Hormozi.

Here's his advice for making money doing test prep and/or tutoring as a student:

#1/ Don't sell tutoring --> Sell the outcome of tutoring

• What is the outcome of tutoring?

  • To get better grades that will get you into a better school

  • To pass a standardized exam that is necessary to gain entrance into a better school

#2/ Don't do 1-on-1 tutoring --> Do semi-private group tutoring

• Why? Because you can charge 2/3rd's the amount you would charge 1-on-1 but you can do it with 8 times as many people. For example:

  • 1-on-1 tutoring for $60/hr for 2 hours = $120

  • Small group tutoring with 8 students for $35/hr for 2 hours = $560

See the difference? Charge 2/3rds to amount but make 4.5x more/hr.
