Today is Day Four of the December Gratitude Challenge...

I had a meeting at work today that very easily could have turned ugly, and I truthfully was a bit nervous that it was going to.

But my boss was 100% supporting me and my coworker. I am so grateful to have her in my corner. A lot of my work is very admin assistant-ey. It's very common to become the scapegoat when things go wrong in an admin position. But not today. It was empowering to be heard, supported, and respected for the hard work my colleague and I do.

I have a stressful job - but days like today is [sic] why I've been with my company for 19 years.
