The temperatures are dropping, and I’m doing my evening journaling huddled under a quilt. Handwriting translation is below the photo…
December 3, 2025
Today is Day Three of the December Gratitude Challenge.
Wednesdays are one of my commute to the office days, and so my writing rhythm gets thrown off a little - I get home late, and the brain is tired. So today’s gratitude is a simple one…
At the end of a long day, I am grateful for an extremely comfortable bed, made up with crisp but warm cozy percale sheets, my worn but familiar comforter, and my husband by my side in case I need to cuddle for a little extra warmth.
Oh - and his c-pap machine. Because after 18 years of marriage, I now have the possibility to sleep all night.
It’s the little things in life…
G’night,
Mel.
I have decided to do a 31 consecutive days of The December Gratitude Challenge in December. Keep your fingers crossed!:) #TheDecemberGratitudeChallenge
