I learned from creating print-on-demand products that the best ideas seldom came from within my niche.
If you're already familiar with content within your niche, seeing more of it will unlikely help your creativity.
It's seeing new or unusual stuff that makes a difference.

I was reminded of this the other day when I saw a shirt design for a "Mom with 3 Girls" that gave me a fantastic idea for a video editor shirt.
