I'm doing a challenge harder than NANOWRIMO!

The Poetry Marathon is a challenge in which you write one poem every hour... and no, you can't prewrite the poems. That would be cheating!

This will be my first time doing this challenge.

I honestly don't know if I can do it but wow it's going to be fun.

If you'd like to join me, click here for registration. The Marathon is Saturday, June 15th. There's also a 1/2 marathon option. The sign-up process is easy AND they give a little orientation to tell you want to expect.

Even the orientation is quick.

I also realized that I had forgotten one vital thing.

PRACTICE! I've never done this before. Do I really think that on June 15th I'll just magically do this without any problems my first time out? Really? Writing one poem an hour, for 24 hours.

I'm crazy, but I'm not stupid.

So, since this is a week from tomorrow, I'm going to start practicing tomorrow. I'll post some poems on the hour and increase my time over the week.

By the time the 15th comes along, I'll definitely be ready.
