πŸŽ™οΈ New podcast episode: Hani Khoury was born in Nablus, Palestine, in 1965 with a rare and progressive physical disorder known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a neuromuscular disease that sentenced him to an electric wheelchair at the age of 18.

Despite his disability, he decided to come to America to complete his higher education. He is now a Professor of Mathematics at Mercer University in Georgia.

He is the author of the autobiography "Giving up is not an option: Memoirs of a Palestinian American."

In my interview with him, we talked about:

✨ His life with a disability growing up in a country under occupation.

✨ His journey to the US.

✨ The status of math education in the US.

✨ The definition of failure across various cultures.
