At 16 fighting the battle depression was giving me, I was letting life pass by like it meant nothing. I developed a severe eating disorder where my stomach suffered such a traumatic experience it didn't bypass any food I would try to eat.

After months of battling not just the fight with depression, I was fighting with my own body. I started losing weight an insane amount; For example, I lost in one week 11 pounds. I was taken to the doctor immediately and got put on supplements.

I started my journey, of months of only drinking baby supplements. It tasted horrible in my opinion but it was the only method of food supply my stomach wouldn't reject. For a full year, my body didn't get the right nutrients it need and that affected my depression also, made it even worse.

While eating the right portion of food our body needs we feel incredible our health increases and our energy increases in a way it hasn't happened before. If you're in bed curled up all day sleeping away your problems and only eating once a day like I use to do, you end up with no energy that you already don't have because of the battle with depression.

We have so much to lose when we don't treat our bodies like a temple. We need nutrients that are healthy if we don't we can't survive, so what happens when you're not giving your body what it needs?

Every aspect of your body becomes affected for example the skin or the hair. Your skin will not have a color you will constantly look pale or like dirty. The hair will fall in an insane amount.

Eating healthy isn't for everyone but as long as your body is getting the right nutrients you are fine. We must cherish our bodies.
