I also decided to roll up my sleeves and face recovery head-on. No more lies. No more hiding. No more internalizing. No more burnout. No more partying. No more self-destruction.

It has only been 8 months. I am aware that I have a lifetime to go. But that's also my point. It has only taken me 8 months to completely change my life around.

Imagine what the rest of my life, our lives, will look like.
I'm surrounded by an amazing wife, two sets of families, friends, colleagues and those working with me professionally (therapy, group, church).

I don't need thanks. I don't need congratulations. I don't need anything.
We get one life. Until it's over. There's only so many opportunities to fill the in-between with love, self-care and experiences.
