We are two weeks away from the premiere of A Starstruck Odyssey - a whole new season of Dimension 20. If you've been paying attention, you know I'm a fan of the show and have interviewed various people who work on it, including Brennan Lee Mulligan - its creator.

This season, in particular, is going to be wild, and there's so much hype going on. In this essay, though, I want to condense the hype into three main things I'm excited to see in this season!

The Core Cast!

It's been a long time since we had a season with the cast that started it all. It's not that other seasons have been less good or anything like that. It's just that this cast has a special place in my little nerdy heart. I love them so much!

Dimension 20's First Sci-Fi Season!

The closest D20 ever got to Sci-Fi was in The Unsleeping City with its technological marvels. And yet, it was essentially magical.

This season is set in a pure science fiction setting. I don't even know if there's "space magic" in the world of Starstruck. But that's on me for not knowing the comic, and I'm excited to dive into that world. I've already preordered the digital reprint to find out in February!

Chaos Brennan

It's probably weird to say, but Brennan's best moments in my mind, are when he's being chaotic AF. And during my interview with him, I got the impression that this season is going to be filled with those moments. Especially after today's release of his interview with his mom, Elaine Lee, explaining there aren't noble moments the cast is missing - there's just TONS of trouble all around!

Conclusion

This season is going to bring us a core cast adventure in the dome after almost two years since A Crown of Candy. It's going to be the first science fiction story ever for Dimension 20. And to top it off, it's going to bring us unhinged moments from the entire cast in addition to a Chaotic Brennan who will keep us on the edge. What are you excited to see in this season?
