Going against what your parents want for you, being laughed at by your so called 'friends', battling your inner demons, being outcasted by your own family. These are a few of the trials and tribulations that the journey of pursuing your passion entails, but all it does is making the view at the top of the mountain when you make it, taste even better.

This is a quote I encourage everyone reading this to live by, especially if you have chosen to go against all the odds and follow your passion. If you have chosen this path you are special. You have decided to follow what your heart is telling you, despite of potentially disappointing your parents, your friends' doubt, the mental barrier you set up yourself due to your lack of confidence etc., and that in itself is already a win. There is so much uncertainty in following your passion; before pursuing it you will doubt yourself, you will start to believe that your family was right, you will get laughed at by others, and even once you are there people will call you crazy and you will start to think the financial and job insecurities aren't worth it. But let me tell you, it definitely is worth it. These losses at the start are merely temporary, and if you adapt a long term mindset you will see that you are just preparing yourself for a life full of fulfillment as you are doing what you love - the money and stability will come sooner than you think, when you do something you love, the happiness will make you be better than the rest at it, so the money will come flowing in.

Just remember that the losses are temporary, but the win is forever. A winner is just a loser who tried one more time.
