Curiosity is a process; one that leads to the accumulation of new knowledge. š
With new knowledge, we find new creative solutions to old problems, thus allowing for the discovery of new realities. š”
Life, is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to experience.
Thus, curiosity increases the realities we experience, leading to a more fulfilling life.
But, if we kill curiosity, then less knowledge accumulated.
Less knowledge leads to less ideas, less solutions and thus more status quo.
In other words:
ā If we put ourselves out there, we increase our chances of ending up with the best possible person/job/opportunity/experience.
ā if we sit around and wait for things to happen to us, we then risk getting the least bad person/job/opportunity/experience
Thus, curiosity is not only the process of accumulating knowledge, but also a root contributor to our chance of having more fulfilling life experiences.
