Journaling
I've been writing in a journal since before my Navy retirement in May 2008. I have filled up notebooks, but since 2018, I've been using Evernote.
In Evernote April 2002, I know what I did every day of that month, well not everything, but plenty of important things. For instance, some of the books I started reading, Intentions I never kept, and when I started finishing all the tasks for my published book, my memoir on Amazon.
I also took action in real estate, checking new listings, meeting with local marketing promoters, and connecting with old friends who still help me.
Family
My family has been on my mind in action and deed. My mom lives a block from me, and we are grateful to have her and my dad, who lives a few miles away.
The tasks we do for our family and friends are a privilege. Many of us learn the hard way as our family and friends pass on. Every time I see them, I'm grateful. Just spending time with our loved ones is vital.
Take Action
List your goals, big and small, write them down on paper or digital format, and connect them to a calendar with a specific day and time, with multiple reminders if required to complete them.
Create a list of actions like the last bullet, write them down with a specific day and time, and finish them.
Do not procrastinate; if you do, don't make excuses to keep putting them off. Just get them done.
Conclusion:
"The Two-Year Method" is looking back on the last two years of your life, discovering what you've learned, and then writing solutions for yourself. There's more to it than that, but I'm leaving this essay here. Do your work and research, and learn to love learning and taking action.
