The scariest decision I made in 2022?

Letting go of my old career identity:

  • Introducing myself as an "innovation strategist"

  • 20 years of successes I won't talk about anymore

  • A steady 6 figure salary

  • Big-name companies and brands as clients

  • High-profile projects

Many people advised me to think twice about it. "At age 50 there's more to lose... you should be more pragmatic. Stick to what you already know"

Why toss it all out and start all over again at this age?

Because I realized that ...

Stability = Stagnant Ability

We all possess extraordinary abilities. But when we adopt a scarcity mindset and obsess over the things we could lose rather than the things we could gain, these abilities get locked in a cage.

It was hard to trade the comfort of my former glories for the unknown of a new career path as a solopreneur in an entirely different field.

Yes, it goes with ups and downs, but every day feels like a new adventure and an opportunity to test "what happens if..."

I'm so happy I took the plunge!

What was your scariest decision in 2022?
