Do you BATCH your thinking?

How do you know what ideas are worth pursuing or not?

One way it has worked for me has been daily writing. (Thank you, !)

Daily writing has its challenges, but one that is not is getting ideas —and writing (almost) 24/7...

Start Batching

Batching ideas comes as a process of putting them down and either making an outline or brain dumping what comes to mind. No judgement. It is what it is. And it's always a good start.

This process becomes a "living" archive of thoughts to work on deeper, reiterate, but —oddly enough— not ditch them.

When one idea/thought doesn't quite work out as expected, the turn around is "What about the opposite take?".

And you know what?

When they're out of your head you can

  • Move on towards new ideas

  • Gain more clarity (avoiding the fog of idea-clutter)

  • See and find the patterns of YOUR thinking

The most interesting side of this: it enables you to think and do with the focus on the people you serve (and as far as I know, that is called leadership).

Have you tried it yet?
