"Let me educate you, you moron."
Who are we to educate our markets? The language we use defines how our relationships develop. Feeling entitled or like being on a higher-ground sounds (a bit?) arrogant and condescending. I'd say that's a really shitty way to build rapport and any kind of relationship —forget about brands only. Think people.
Educate
This comes up as talking down on others.
"You know nothing and I need to be the one to bring you MY knowledge".
This takes that whomever you'd be focusing on takes a passive role. They don't have agency. Maybe they're not even interested. Why build anything towards you (call it loyalty, relationships, transactions...)? It's just more work to do. When there's a better [of whatever you do/sell], I'll leave.
Teach
I'm on a better position than you. I'll teach you how it's done. I'll teach you. I'll - teach - you. You might know something (or not) BUT here I am, on the higher ground to show you this is the way. (And I love to say "You should"). Again, this takes your audience on a passive role. You're making the decision and showing the way, your way.
Learn
I'm here to help you learn and move forward. I might show you one way, but the decision and the journey is yours. I'm here to support you.
Learning is not only the process of acquiring knowledge or skills, it's also about becoming or being made aware of something.
Your position comes from a mindset of service. I'm here for you and I'll create the environment and facilitate things so YOU can develop and acquire this skill, experience, expertise, etc.
Learning comes from a place of one taking action and responsibility towards a decision. And if you're there for them, they'll be there for you.
