Any screen will do: the TV, your cell phone, the family's tablet. It doesn't matter if there are drawers full of toys or games they haven't seen for months... unless you take them out of the drawer and announce that you will donate them to other children. Sometimes, five minutes later they ask:

When did you say you were going to buy me the console?

6 activities requiring few/no material you can share with your children

There are several games that we can do as a family and that do not require any extra material apart from things or games that we already have at home.

1️⃣ Chained words: The first player will say a word, and the next player must say another word that begins with the last syllable of the word that the player said before him/her.

2️⃣ Faces and gestures: The participants, divided into two teams, must guess the word that a member of their team is trying to tell them through faces and gestures, without words.

3️⃣ The blind man's buff: One of the players blindfolds himself/herself and tries to find or catch the others, and in some variants, to guess who it is.

4️⃣ Board games: Organize an afternoon of games with the ones you already own, or make your own games with materials you have at home, such as a memorama of fruits and objects that the children draw.

5️⃣ Card games: A myriad of possibilities with classic cards (French or Spanish decks) or with characters from one of their favorite series/movies.

6️⃣ Homemade mini marathon: Make a mini marathon at home: jumps, squats, sit-ups and fun routines that will also be beneficial to our health.
