Once there lived an old lady in a village. She was doing the household chores one day and suddenly she could not see. It appeared that she had become blind. She became really sad as she was now unable to see. She calls the doctor in the village. This doctor was the most talented doctor in the village. People from other villages came to this village to meet him.

The doctor comes to the house of the old lady. There he saw the most valuable and the most expensive furniture he could ever find in that village. The old lady asked this doctor to cure her. She would pay his fee if he cured her and if he failed then she would not pay her any money. The doctor became greedy seeing her expensive furniture. He wanted to take this furniture with him. So, he came up with a plan. He decided to delay the treatment of the old lady.

Every day he comes and covets the old lady's furniture. He kept taking the furniture until there was none left. After taking all the furniture he decided to finally treat the old lady and cure her eyesight.

The old lady could finally see again. She was really happy that her eyesight was restored. The doctor congratulated her and asked for his fee. The old lady went silent for some time and then she declined the doctor his fee. The doctor was furious as it was the deal that if he cured her eyes, she would pay him his full fee. He decided to bring this case to the court's notice.

Now both of them were in the courtroom. "What's the matter?" The judge asked.

"This lady is denying my payment after I cured her eyes." He replied angrily.

The judge then turned to the old lady

"Is the doctor telling the truth?" the judge asked the old lady.

"Yes, this is true but, we had an agreement that if he failed to cure me I would not pay him any money"

"Aren't you able to see?" The judge asked

"Yes Your Honour, I'm able to see again but I am not able to see the furniture in my house and last time I checked, it was there. So, he did not cure me properly." The old lady replied.

The judge understood the situation. The judge has now decided on the verdict of this case. He declares the doctor guilty of stealing the old lady's furniture. The doctor is shocked and is regretting his actions.

The judge sentenced the doctor to 10 years in prison. The old lady got her eyes as well as her furniture back.
