Now I wanted to succeed bad. I come from a place where all the odds were stacked against me to succeed.

Despite all the odds, I’m still fighting and getting better every day.

In this post, I’m going to share my secrets of living a long and happy life as an Entrepreneur.

I burned my bridges

After my graduation I didn’t collect my graduation certificates and marks cards from VTU University.

Which simply means I’ll never apply for a job ever in my life.

The only way is to move forward. Figure out the way. I bought sheets of quotes from Flipkart and framed them. I hang it in my office to remind myself.

I’ll either find a way, or make one.

And I did Find a way. And it’s to Move. Take Action.

When you take action, you’ll inevitably get an outcome.

You’ll either win or learn. I never failed, I just learned a lot of ways to do things right.

It’s a journey to infinity and you’re never done. There’s always more steps to climb. More frontiers to conquer. I’m never done and so are you.

Enjoy the journey, Entrepreneurship has no destination.

Because i was determined to figure out my way, I did. If something’s not working out pivot and change the process or pause it and start a new one that aligns with what I’m doing.

Secret to Long Term Success and Happiness: OMVP - Origin, Mission, Vision & Purpose.

My origin is in building Digital Assets. So I’ve been at it from the past decade and I’ve got so good at it that it had become my second nature.

When you’re good at something, own it and perfect your craft. Be the best at what you do and keep on improving yourself.

My mission keeps on changing:

In 2017, I built Digital College Online Ecosystem, when I saw the interest for it with Institution owners was low, I pivoted and started building a food delivery app.
In 2018, I named the company foodbind and ran it till 2019. One whole year.
In 2019, I pivoted and built Chillbasket which is an e-commerce grocery delivery service.
Another amazing thing happened in 2019, I got an enquiry to build an e-commerce store for a local merchant. When opportunity knocks and you’re ready for it you always say yes.
In 2021, I closed Chillbasket due to factors out of my control.
I had failed, multiple times and was ready to finally reach out to people for help. Since there’s no one around me wise enough to guide me.

I reached out to the next best thing.

Then I found a book called 24 Assets by Daniel Priestly.

I went to the Author page and bought all his books:

Entrepreneur Revolution, Oversubscribed, Key Person of Influence along with 24 Assets.

I got so much clarity and I wanted more.

I filled the scorecard of 24 assets to self assess where I’m at. I received a personalised report that highlighted what my strengths are and what my weaknesses are.

Daniel Priestly runs a company called Dent Global where he and his partner Glen Clarkson runs 2 accelerators. One is to get started - Startup Accelerator and Second is to grow - Key Person of Influence Accelerator.

I did them both and as a result I pivoted to my passion project in Tourism.

I called the company “My Chill Trip”.
