I made 25k in one day while working as a software engineer

There are a lot of things most people don't know about working as a software engineer.

For example, did you know...

  • You don't have to be good at Math.

  • You don't need to have a college degree.

  • Programming isn't hard, it just takes time to learn

For anyone in the industry, this stuff is common knowledge.

But what if I told you there is some else a lot of software engineers don't know but is actually pretty common. And what if I told you can do every year to get an extra 12 - 30 percent more in your pocket.

What is it you asked ....it's called job hopping.

Here's how it works

Keep your resume fresh because job hopping is when you change jobs frequently and voluntarily. Many software engineers do this because they are looking for a promotion at their current job, but there are too many barriers, so they get the higher title at a different company.

But for me titles mean nothing. It's about the BAG. You can job hop and make more money with the same job title.

Let's say you are currently making 85k and you change jobs to increase your salary to 100k. Then you also ask for a sign on bonus for 10k. And boom... you just made an extra 25k.

And even though you don't have to be good at math as a software engineer... that math is adding up.

Crazy, right?
