1 - Active Involvement

Real commitment looks like:

Scheduled Gemba visits
Joining, not just watching
Curiosity over blame

Can frontline teams recall the last time a senior leader visited and asked about the process?

2 - Model the Right Behaviors

Teams take cues from the top.

If leaders do not model learning,
humility, and improvement,
no one else will.

Show visible CI commitment
Protect time for CI work

3 - Invest in Change
“Commitment without resources is theater.”

You cannot call CI a priority
while starving it.

Real leaders protect:

Budget
Time
Long-term focus

In the last budget cycle, was CI protected or cut first?

Maturity Check

Level 1: CI is discussed, not practiced.
Level 2: Some leaders model it, not all.
Level 3: Leaders live and fund CI daily.

Most teams think they are at Level 2.
Many are still at Level 1.
