The best Audition Effects Rack for Voiceovers.
I custom-built this for a client with a 300k YouTube channel.
The Goal: Outstanding voiceover sound with a simple preset.
Here's how you can copy it:

1) RX 10 Repair Assistant
One of two paid third party plugins - but for a good reason.
It combines de-essing, de-reverb, de-noise, de-click, AND adjusts each of these parameters automatically by listening to your audio.
This does a bulk of the audio repair work.

2) Clarity Vx - DeReverb Stereo
Another de-reverb plugin?
Yes - because it is the best at what it does (in my opinion).
Don't underestimate how much a dry vocal sound increases comprehensibility and the professional effect.
It is the second paid third party plugin.

3) Parametric Equalizer
You can use any Equalizer plugin to balance out resonant or too quiet frequencies.
The curve you see below is fitted to my client's voice recording.
Although it might look different for you, this is a very common EQ curve for voice.

4) Fresh Air
This plugin introduces clarity to your voice - like someone took off a muffling cloth from it.
It is absolutely crazy that this is a free plugin!
And yet it is used by most professional editors and producers.
A secret weapon for voice post-production.

5) Multiband Compressor
The compressor manages the dynamic range of the voice - makes quiet parts louder and loud parts quieter.
With a multiband compressor, you can, e.g., compress the lows more and give the highs more breathing room.
It also serves as a limiter.

6) Youlean Loudness Meter 2
This last plugin monitors the overall loudness.
Each platform we cater to as creators has a target loudness (LUFS).
In this case YouTube wishes for -14 LUFS.
So the last step always is checking if your loudness is competitive.

7) Saving the Effects Rack
The last step is to click “save effects rack as a preset” and you're well-equipped for all your upcoming podcasts and voice-over recordings.
Remember when using it to always:
1. Click “learn” in the repair assistant
2. Check the loudness
