If you do a lot of typing every day, chances are you find yourself typing out the same words and phrases over and over again. This can be extremely frustrating, and it can also take up a lot of your time.

Luckily, there’s a tool that can help you automate this process and help you type faster and more efficiently. TextExpander is an amazing tool that allows you to create custom shortcuts for your most commonly used words and phrases.

Zapier

Zapier is an online automation tool that allows you to connect and automate different online services and applications. For example, you can use Zapier to automatically add new leads from your web forms to your CRM, or to send out automatic thank-you emails to new subscribers.

You can take Zapier to incredible lengths and even add in your own scripting and call on other automation systems and tools.

IFTTT

IFTTT, starting out as "If This Then That" is among the very first online no code automation services. While the popularity of Zapier has grown, IFTTT has always been there making improvements. There are other automation services too but for now I'll make comparisons between these two of the largest automation services.

IFTTT was always considered the user-friendly, individual/consumer automation service compared to Zapier taking a more enterprise/business-oriented approach. Keeping that mantra while less capable than Zapier it has many consumer-only services Zapier doesn’t while also being much cheaper.
