A Coach. A Bike. And a Mission. Making Life Awesome. One Revolution at a Time. Want to ride along? Those revolutions are so much easier in the slipstream.

It's the same reason why most companies fail to create innovative and inspiring products: because they outsourced the Product Owner role.

I'm a nerd for self-management and life system creation.

I have been studying tons of self-help books and frameworks. Really got lost in the topic. Immersing myself further by taking a Coaching training, an NLP training, a Yoga teacher Training. You name it.

I just can't stop digging deeper.

Over the years while working with clients, I learned that most people who end up living lives that don't fulfil them.

Because they outsourced the Product Owner role.

"They did what?" you might think, if you're not familiar with Scrum.

Scrum is a framework for small teams.

It helps to create products customers love. And to do it fast. By providing a structure to create and iterate based on feedback.

It has three responsibilities - Scrum Master, Developer ..

.. and the one I'm talking about now: Product Owner.

They are responsible to make the product valuable as soon as possible. They know the market and what their stakeholders want. And they create, communicate and if required adapt the product vision.

Product Owners decide what the product should look like.

Now imagine that your life is a product you create. And you're doing this with an inner Scrum Team representing all different aspects and facets of yourself. You and the people close to you might be your stakeholders.

If your inner Scrum team has a weak product owner - or you outsourced the role, you don't know what to do with your life.

So you lead the "normal" life that our society expects. You do what your parents did. You do what gets you most likes on social media. It is not you who makes your most important decisions.

In short: You are NOT the person that creates your life vision!

How should it be fulfilling for you then?

Don't do what uninspiring companies do that just follow the market.

Instead: Go Scrum Yourself!
