I was going through one of my Certifications that I was working on, and there was a quote that struck me.

"In truth, much of this hand-wringing around the fragility of the human body is nonsense.

We are highly adaptable, resilient creatures."

There is so much out in the world that attempts to tell us that we are going to break at any second.

If you eat this type of food, your body will decay.

If you fail to work out, you won't be able to use it anymore.

If you don't learn something, your brain will deteriorate.

It feels like no matter which way you turn, you are one tiny action away from collapsing into dust.

But it's not true!

You are not as fragile as all these things would have you believe!

A LOT of the "fragility of humanity" messaging that you hear is just Marketing that is attempting to make you feel "less than" what you are.

When we feel "less than", there becomes a Psychological gap we feel, and we want to fill that gap.

The thing though is that the "gap" is mostly Imaginary!

While it "technically" is true that if we don't do certain things in our lives, our lives will get worse, the REALITY is that it's a SLOW process.

Usually, that process takes a minimum of YEARS, but more often it takes DECADES to become a Reality.

But as Humans, we also have the ability to Change Course, and Research finds that when we do make Changes, we can Recover and even get Stronger MUCH Faster than we would "deteriorate".

Our Physiology has this AMAZING ability to Adapt to almost any Condition, even for long periods of time!

However, getting back into a "better" condition is something the body almost immediately jumps back to and attempts to retain for as long as possible.

You could eat horribly for a decade, and recover "most" if not all of the damage with Consistent Effort in just a Year's time.

Then, even if we are unable to get things to an "Ideal" place, our bodies will often still utilize whatever resources it has available to cover most (if not all) of our needs to continue to live well.

Do we still need to take care of ourselves?

Absolutely!

But if you have off-days, off-weeks, even off-years, it is UNLIKELY that you will suddenly become dust.

Realize that Human beings are the MOST Adaptable and Resilient Creatures that have ever existed!

No other Creatures on Earth have figured out a way to live in ANY environment on the planet, let alone are even CONSIDERING the Idea of Life on OTHER planets!

No other Creatures on Earth have figured out a way to NOT struggle for Survival, or COMPLETELY depend on OTHER species to keep them alive.

What I know is that ALL of the Marketing around how "fragile" Humans are is FALSE.

There is no support that proves we are Fragile, period.

There are many ways to Live Better, sure, but we are able to have Incredible Lives even in some of the worst conditions.

Our ability to Handle and Utilize Stressful Conditions is INCREDIBLE!

Now, we do need to be wary of things like Burnout, but these are not going to decimate us immediately, and we can Recover from them remarkably well!

Don't fall for all the false marketing that exists - you are SO MUCH MORE than you Realize!

You can Accomplish SO MUCH MORE than you Know!

Life may have dealt you "less than" Optimal Conditions, but you have the POWER to Rise Above ALL of them!
