What would make over 80% of employees worldwide accept a pay cut if it meant this was supported?

I'll give you another hint - 60% of employees also say that their job has the biggest influence on this.

Figure it out?

It's their Mental Wellness.

This is extremely important for Leaders to understand.

People are more burnt-out than ever, with nearly 30% of people constantly burnt out, and less than 25% are "rarely" burnt out (but this doesn't mean they aren't constantly stressed!) according to Gallup.

This is also the main reason we are seeing people REFUSE to go back into the office.

Employees were constantly stressed and burnt out in the office, and now that they haven't been there, they are beginning to realize how much better life is NOT in the office.

Despite this, many employers are attempting to force employees back into the office - the SAME office environment they were in previously.

It's clear that these Leaders don't realize that THEY are the reason that Employees don't want to go back.

However, for someone who wants to be a Legendary Leader, this is an ENORMOUS opportunity!

The Opportunity Being COMPELTELY Missed

If many HUGE employers are demanding employees come back to the office, without changing the terrible environment, but those employees would accept a pay cut if their mental health was actually taken into account in the workplace -

Do you see where I'm going?

There is a gigantic talent pool that is ready to cut ties to all of these organizations, for less than they are making now, as soon as they find an opportunity!

If you provide a work environment that ACTUALLY thinks about Mental Wellness (mostly Dis-Stress), these extremely talented employees will flock to you.

The Determining Factor

However, the question becomes, what are you doing as a Leader to improve your Mental Wellness?

This is the importance of understanding Leadership Evolution.

If your Mental Health (especially Dis-Stress) isn't being worked on, aka you aren't an Exemplar, then you won't be able to attract these employees.

It's not enough to say, "We care about your Mental Health" because human beings can actually tell when this is only being paid lip service.

It's a function of our Neurocardiology - you can say it, but if it isn't true then potential employees will reject you.

So, if you actually begin to focus on improving your Mental Health as a Leader, and you make the work environment better, you could get any employee you need.

Understand the Leadership Evolution, become an Exemplar, and you will quickly be on the path to Legendary.
