Although I never thought that for a long time, it also holds true for getting in shape. Yes, really.

Here are the three simple steps to getting a beach body in two months.

#1 Intermittent Fasting

Don't start with the what but with the when to eat.

Because we aren't made for steady consumption of food. Instead, where we're coming from, we've been living feast or famine.

That's why our bodies need time to make sense of what we eat.

Intermittent fasting will help you with that.

Instead of eating the entire day, we create a time frame in which we eat and one in which we don't.

For me, it's between 12pm and 8pm.

Only then do I consume my calories for the day.

During the other hours, I don't consume any calories at all. This helps with lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar.

And it'll help you lose weight, too.

Set a time frame for your eating to make yourself benefit.

#2 Whole foods + protein

No, not the chain.

I'm talking about the actual foods here.

Nowadays, it's easy to eat shit by accident.

Most so-called foods we can buy are optimized for one thing, which isn't healthy. It's shelf-life.

Filled to the brim with additives, colorings, aromas, and texture enhancers, these things can't be called food anymore.

Our bodies know it.

Yet, often, we need a reminder.

Here's it: Only eat something with around 7 or fewer ingredients AND/OR ingredients you can pronounce.

Eat at least 1,5 grams of protein per kg.

If you fuel your body with the right food, you'll make it thrive.

Losing weight by applying #1 and #2 works.

Getting in shape requires #3. Because without exercise, you can't build muscles.

But don't start like I did, wasting hours over hours in the gym.

Instead, make it like your dream girlfriend: short and sweet.

Split your workouts to train different body parts on different days, for example:

Aim for workout sessions for a max of 45 minutes so you don't have any excuse not to show up and waste time.

How?

By implementing supersets. Do one exercise and straight afterward the other. Only then pause shortly.
