The Second Penang Bridge was Malaysia's first project using earthquake-proof rubber bearings, essential in places prone to earthquakes like Japan and New Zealand. The Malaysian Rubber Board pioneered this in the 1970s.

𝟮) 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Invented by Dr. Nehemiah Lee in the 1980s, Nehemiah walls are seen along flyovers, are durable and quick to build, using a honeycomb structure, reinforced bars and compressed soil without cracking.

𝟯) 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝘆𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮

Invented by Ren Ng, the Lytro Camera changes the focus of your photo at the touch of a finger. Using micro lenses to make post-shot focus even in low light conditions, this small camera can even take 3D-style photos.

𝟰) 𝗨𝗦𝗕 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲

Pua Khein Seng invented the USB flash drive which is used as portable, digital storage devices. After studying in Taiwan, he founded Phison Electronics and created the first USB flash drive with system-on-chip technology in 2001.

𝟱) 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿

Datuk Hew Ah Kow invented this useful cooking device to for boiling eggs. Perfectly cooked eggs every time!
