This is one of the best self-development shortcuts out there.
I got this Idea from the YouTuber 1STMAN, so all the credit goes to him.
In life, how we think and make decisions will determine the course of our lives.
Living a good life can be boiled down to making the right choices and having a winning mindset.
The mistakes most people make at a young age come from a lack of emotional intelligence and maturity.
Why thinking like a 40-year-old man is so powerful
The number ONE reason men who are 16-25 fail at building a good life.
Can you guess what it is?
It's not discipline, ambition, or work ethic.
It's simply mindset and identity.
If you view yourself as a young 20-year-old, just going out to experience life, you'll party, you'll drink, you'll engage in casual relationships and you'll generally waste time on fluff.
(disclaimer: I am not demonizing any of this, do what you think is right.)
But if we flip that, and you view yourself as a successful 40-year-old man, you won't party or drink, you won't stay up late playing video games or browsing sites.
You'll be waking up early, going to the gym, learning new skills, starting a business or investing, and working hard towards your goals.
The quicker you mature, and the quicker you grow up, the better.
It hit me when I turned 18 just yesterday, the question: What have I been doing these past few months?
I haven't stayed true to myself, and I've lost the mindset that allowed me to achieve great things In my life.
I've started thinking like a 40-year-old, and I'm already seeing improvements in my life.
You start thinking about things differently, you set new standards, and form new beliefs about the world.
And in the end, that's going to take you far ahead of the curve.
