Another 30 days, another Ship 30 for 30 cohort is in the books!
Once again, I wrote & published 30 Atomic Essays & threads (well, a thread 😅), practised the fundamentals of Digital Writing, made friends, and continued to gain clarity over where I can help people the most. As ever, it's been fantastic.
Here are 3 takeaways from the last 30 days:
I wanted to write more threads this time, but it proved more difficult than I thought!
Why? Because the format is sufficiently different, I found it challenging to fit my ideas into that "shape".
I'll keep trying, though, because it seemed to work when I did write one.
I think I said this before, but I'm always surprised when someone reads my posts.
Sure "likes" give you a clue, but nothing prepares you for DM's from people that resonated with your words and found it helpful.
It's powerful and motivational.
"If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together."
I felt that in a big way. From support from my new friends Kam and Dean to peers like Chris and Parveen, getting encouragement and support from others on this same path helped a ton.
And that's it!
Shout out to Dickie Bush and Nicolas Cole for putting the course together. It's been a game-changer.
If you have been thinking about getting started writing online, too, let me know. I'm happy to share more about the experience and what I learned.
