Lessons pop-up in the most unexpected places.
It's been another busy week this week. I've been learning about accessibility testing, running workshops, pairing with technical testing wizards and of course, coaching people.
It's been hectic!
One of the things I like to do in my downtime is use Twitter. This week, I found a tweet by JK Molina which said: How can you learn if you're always right?
That made me reflect on my week:
Even though I've been testing for over 20 years, I'm still a beginner with accessibility testing.
My colleague Rita and I are very good at our jobs. But we couldn't have matched the variety and richness of ideas that came out of the Riskstorming workshop we ran with our teammates.
Watching my colleagues Lisi and James work is like watching wizards cast spells.
Helping people reflect on their situations and work out plans of action is educational.
Every day this week was a school day 😊
How can you learn if you're always right?
