Reaching Out to Others for Help in College
Victoria P.🧢

It is no secret that college can be extremely tough. A lot of people can manage it on their own, but others cannot.

We live in a digital age. This means that many of us have access to social media sites such as Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and YouTube. With such apps, we tend to use them for nonacademic purposes. I am no stranger to this. I mainly use most of these apps for personal conversations anyway.

However, I think it is beneficial to use those apps, especially WhatsApp, to join group chats for class. A lot of college students already do this, but I recommend for anyone who has not or who is not in college yet to keep that in mind. If you have any questions for an assignment or upcoming test, it is always a good thing to ask the group chat for help.

I highly recommend joining a group chat with fellow classmates or people you know. I also recommend to not join a chat where test answers are shared. This is mainly because you run the risk of getting in trouble. I had a friend who was in a situation like that and there was mole in the chat, and everyone got in trouble. Please be careful when it comes to what chats you join.

Besides that, I recommend joining as many chats as you can, especially chats that correlate to a specific class that you are in. Trust me, you are going to have questions about certain tests or assignments when it comes to answering questions or knowing when something is do.
